RS&H Inc. is providing a Consultant Project Engineer for the I-25 Express Lanes Segments 5 & 6. This construction management/general contractor (CM/GC) project will add increased capacity by widening I-25 in both directions with the addition of express lanes and replacing several aging bridges.

New interchanges will be constructed at SH 56 and SH 60. The new interchange at SH 56 will include a roundabout on each side of the interchange and allow for a safer at-grade interchange. The SH 60 interchange is a diverging diamond that includes new pedestrian and bicycle access to facilitate movement below the interstate.

The project also includes the construction of a pedestrian box culvert to allow access to the future bus service terminal, utility access road, ITS fiber optic backbone, wall construction, asphalt and PCCP paving, and several drainage components requiring shoring protection and phased work. The final phase of the project will consist of the construction of 10 bridges at the following locations: SH 56, the Great Western Railroad overpass, SH 60, Larimer County Road 14 and Larimer County Road 16.
