Central 70 is one of the most impactful projects of our generation, projected to result in $18 billion of new economic activity in Colorado by 2040. Consisting of reconstructing 10 miles of I-70, this $1.2 billion project was initiated to address local and regional congestion and to revitalize the local economy.
RS&H started conducting bridge inspections in Texas with a team of three, inspecting approximately 30 structures per month. We have since grown into a team of 20, managing 150-200 structural inspections annually nationwide.
RS&H is providing scope validation, engineering review, general, engineering and construction management support services to Fredericksburg District during the procurement, phased design, and construction of the I-95 Fredericksburg Extension P3 project.
RS&H developed a complete finite element model of the 240-foot aluminum double helical enclosure. The structural design of the plaza included tiered retaining walls, both cantilever and gravity, as well as the use of sheet pile walls.
