[Chicago, IL]— RS&H recently welcomed Anees Rahman, PE, to the national engineering, architecture, and consulting firm as a senior principal electrical engineer. In this role, Rahman will lead aviation electrical projects as a design leader and subject matter expert while collaborating on developing electrical design approaches and mentoring the firm’s emerging associates.

“Anees’ expertise and leadership are critical to the firm, particularly as we expand our aviation electrical projects,” said Rob Roseman, PE, LEED AP, Associate Vice President of Electrical Engineering. “We’re confident that his vision and ability to mentor others will elevate our team’s capabilities and continue to position us at the forefront of the industry.”

Rahman brings over 30 years of experience as an electrical engineer in the aviation market to his new role. His extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration regulations and best practices offers a robust understanding of airport electrical and lighting systems. Beyond aviation, Rahman has demonstrated excellence in client relations and project management, successfully delivering projects across various markets, including transportation infrastructure, roadway lighting, toll systems, and industrial, federal, and transportation facilities.

“I’ve been blessed over my career to work with a variety of aviation airports, from small, general airports up to large international airports and military facilities,” said Rahman. “At RS&H, I’m looking forward to partnering with our clients to provide safe, reliable, economical, and state-of-the-art electrical services for years to come.”

Rahman graduated from the University of Illinois-Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states.
