RS&H is serving as a subconsultant member of the Program Manager Consultant team for MDOT’s Ancillary Structures Program. RS&H’s scope includes assisting with program development, program and project control procedures, training development, and field inspection. The work involves the inspection, documentation, and report completion for 2,000 culverts in MDOT’s North Region. The RS&H team is responsible for reviewing the elemental rating scheme, condition rating and inspection manual, and RFA guidance documents, lane closure requests, and QA reviews of inspection findings.

The Lesner Bridge is arguably Virginia Beach's signature bridge and boasts an average annual daily traffic (AADT) count of over 20,000 vehicles. The City of Virginia Beach set a goal to produce a bridge with a 100-year lifespan that incorporated new aesthetics and safety measures.
