Lafayette Regional Airport New Terminal Development

RS&H led the design to deliver a unique building informed by the natural context, rich history, and culture of all the people who settled in the Lafayette area. Extensive research for the project included visiting museums and cultural centers and interviewing community leaders to inform the development of architectural design concepts.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport South Deicing Complex

The airport tasked the RS&H-led design team to develop a plan that provided flexibility for simultaneous deicing of five Group V (Airbus A350) or ten Group III (Boeing 737) aircraft, maximizing the airport’s operational capacity during winter months.

Environmental Services

By offering comprehensive environmental services, we assist clients by developing and executing projects that comply with all environmental laws and regulations. These services include preparing documentation that complies with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), state environmental documentation requirements, and the Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 150 of the Aviation Safety and Noise Abatement Act. As part of compliance with NEPA, our aviation environmental planning staff have expertise in compliance with other federal, state, and local laws and regulations. We have prepared environmental documentation in every Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) region. Our environmental documentation has been prepared for airports of all sizes and for a wide range of projects that include airfield improvements, landside improvements, and other environmental studies. RS&H staff have worked on the most complex aviation environmental documentation and have developed robust public outreach programs in concert with environmental documentation.
